Happy brithday to me (and convention 108)

Every year I recognise that I share my birthday with Data Protection Day in Europe or Data Privacy Day globally which began in 2007 to celebrate the date “Convention 108” was opened for signature in 1981. Indeed I was only 9 years old when the convention opened.
